John F. Timmerman has retired from the partnership. He will remain on as counsel to the firm for some period of time.

Wade R. Mills has joined the firm, which becomes Timmerman, Haskell & Mills LLP.

LLP means that the firm is a limited liability partnership, so that partners are only liable for each other's negligence to the extent of their partnership assets. All lawyers carry errors and omissions insurance as required by the Law Society of Upper Canada.
